Blue
American Blue/Silver Fox Mix- Doe
What an amazing mother this one is! She diligently tends her nest and pulls more fur than I've ever seen! She has also been known to make a nests for another moms not doing such a great job before giving birth. This lady really is a treat. So confident and social! She loves greeting the dogs through the wire, and meets our Husky mix for nose boops every time I open the door. To top it off, she consistently has big litters and beautiful, colorful babies!
Caramel
Silver Fox Mix - Doe
This lazy bum couldn't be bothered less when you enter the colony. Make loud noises, clean around her, give her good pets. Nothin fazes her. She'll stay in her nice little lounging spot where the cool earth touches her belly. The only thing that really gets her active is racing to the food bowl for a fresh pour of pellets or yummy greens from the garden.
Chinny
Giant Chinchilla / New Zealand Mix - Doe
We affectionately call her Chins, Chinny, or Chinnifer due to her enormous dewlap. Much better than our kids insisting we call her "Fat Sack" lol
She's very soft and very clean. She works diligently to keep her burrow clear and tediously removes any haw or straw I put down, to which Caramel takes full advantage and lounges right in the entrance. This sweet girl also loves to be held and cuddled.

New Zealand / Blanc de Hotot Mix - Doe in Training
Born March 3rd, 2023, she is the newest doe to join the colony. Very sweet and curious. We'll see if she is a good mama soon!
Red
New Zealand Mix - Buck
This little guy is a bit shy. He came to us at around 5 months old and I'm not sure how well he was socialized beforehand. He prefers to keep to himself and stay down in the burrows. But that's fine by me! He does his job and makes lots of beautiful babies!

Silver Fox/ Blanc de Hotot Mix - Buck in Training
Another newbie! Born March 10th, 2023. This guy has a big personality. He gets the zoomies and likes parkouring off walls. We'll see if he's a good dad soon!
